The following features and enhancements were released by Solid Cactus eCommerce on December 15, 2010. If you are a Solid Cactus eCommerce merchant, more information on these changes can also be found in your recently updated user guide.
Digital Goods
Merchant Controllable Digital Download Link
This project release item gives our merchants the ability to control when digital download links expire.
- Now a merchant can control how many times the digital product is downloaded
- The merchant can also now control how long the link is to remain active after purchase (Currently links expire after 24 hours)
Upload Timestamp
This project release item is to give our merchants the ability to see when the last upload date is for their digital goods.
- Gives the merchant visibility into the last time they updated the digital product file
- Now they can visually see that their upload was successful
Coupons
Not Combined with Sale Items Feature
This project release item is to provide store and classic cart merchants with a method of excluding “on sale” items when applying coupon offers.
- Can now indicate whether or not the coupon can be applied to sale items
- Allows the merchant to better control sale pricing, marketing campaigns and intended use
Product Options
Adjustment Control for Weight
This project release item is to provide merchants with a method of storing shipping weights and handling fees on product options, which serve as an add-on to the existing regular product shipping weight and handling fees.
- Adjustment control for shipping weight
- Import/export and import handles these weights to your product options
- Allows merchant to gain greater shipping accuracy
- Additional handling fee per option supported – useful for options requiring special handling
- Both weight and handling fees can be negative “-”
New Sign Up Notice
Autoresponder Subscriptions
This project release item is to provide our merchants the name of every autoresponder that a contact is subscribed to upon sign up.
- Modification of contact sign up notice
- Gives details of all autoresponders the contact is subscribed to
- Gives merchant better visibility and better ultimate control as to how the contact is marketed to
Other Changes
- This release item is to add a new API call which will change the expiry dates of the merchants Doba accounts, i.e. allow Doba expire to be set on newordermanual.asp page – API changes
- This release item is to give our merchants the ability to search for all users within the contact list, i.e. Multi-Level Login (MLL) – Add “All Users” to clients search page
- Multi-Level Login, create a link between exactly one user and one contact for each sub-user. Create contact record for sub-users that do not already have one. This will help prevent duplication of email addresses
- Improvements made to the edit funnel page while using Firefox, opt-in messages when importing contacts, PayPal orders, visual rounding issue.
- Default categories, order link within the contact details page, test send autoresponders, recurring events
- Additions made were; additional Google Analytics tracking to the SCeC sign up page and Gateway Verifi added to the support list of Gateways within the OneShop Gateway component.
