The following features and enhancements were released by Solid Cactus eCommerce on November 17, 2010. If you are a Solid Cactus eCommerce merchant, more information on these changes can also be found in your recently updated user guide.
Store Updates
Import Categories and Products with Categories
- Changed product import
- Added category path field (Path) that significantly speeds data population and data migration
- Removes need to create categories before importing products
- Eliminates remembering category ID’s when assigning to products
- Example: [Mens/Shoes/Reebok, Mens/Shoes/Hiking] – category will be created if not already existing in system – 1st category in list becomes primary
- Primary category ID and category ID columns will still be accepted by import
New Category Import
- If you supply category ID then you are updating, no ID, you are creating – just like products
- Reassign parent categories in one easy upload
- Update category page URLs in bulk, page titles, meta keywords, meta description, descriptions, parent paths and category names

FeedPerfect Updates
Increase feeds and improve product categorization.
This project item is to provide merchants with advanced methods to map uncategorized products, allow upgrade/downgrade through API, and increase the number of feeds for packages.
- Add filter for unassigned products – will display on FeedPerfect interface
- Added calls to FeedPerfect from the upgrade/downgrade package methods in 1SC API
- Increase number of feeds for higher level packages (package changes as follows):
- Premium/Pro: 3 feeds (2 feeds currently)
- Ultimate: All supported feeds (2 feeds currently)
*FeedPerfect is only available for stores which run on a custom domain
More Store Updates
Coupons –
- Display coupon information on the order details page
- Displays coupon code on the order details, along with description, type (product, category, order) and discount generated by code
- This project item is to give our merchants more information regarding customer coupon usage
In Solid Cactus eCommerce and Cactus Connect
- Allow Adobe .air files to be uploaded in the merchant media library
- *AIR applications can create notifications, change the dock or system tray icon, and access the file system
- CRM Phase 1 – Release Part #1 – This project item is to change any wording used regarding ‘client’ to ‘contacts’
- Double quotes are converted to single quotes in custom signatures in mail sent to customers
Other Updates
- Order details will now distinguish orders which were placed through PayPal
- API provisioning calls modified to return error when second level domain is specified (i.e. mydomain.com instead of www.mydomain.com) and enforces the use of the ‘www’ to all signups, and existing accounts
- Improved the display settings for merchant stores, multi-unsubscribe, funnels
- Improved affiliate summary and commissions, packing and order slips
- Account created with opt-in by pass enabled
- Addresses an issue within the ASP sales report ‘Product Sales by Item’
- Ensures notes from customers within the “Comments/Special delivery instructions” are complete on printed packing slip
- Fixed an issue with an exception being generated by AdStats
- Gave merchants using SkipJack the ability to delay fund capturing
- Allow the usage of end slashes within the store
